TRINKET BOXES
With the trinket boxes you see here I have used a round wooden box with a removable lid.
The bases have been finished with a thin layer of resin.
I use acrylic paints as well as pigments. I finish most of my pieces with resin and then sometimes use varnish.
Some of the methods used on these pieces are “The Bloom Technique” and a “Swipe”. Another method that I use often is know as the “Dutch Pour.” There are other methods that I have not explored yet.
