my story

I work on wood, canvas and glass.

I have never thought of myself as an artist. Taking a pencil and drawing a face or a tree was not something I did well. Stick people was the best I could do.

I have always been an admirer of abstract art and have always been on the lookout for art to purchase. As fate would have it, I found out about a lady in a

neighboring town that was doing classes. I jumped on the internet and made a reservation. As soon as I started, I knew that this was something I would enjoy.

Like anyone that has been inspired, I went and purchased paints and canvases and started painting, not having a clue about what I was doing.

There have been a lot of flops or (painting backwards, as my husband would call it).

I have spent many hours on YouTube watching various artists with different techniques. Creating their pieces with passion and enthusiasm. I have tried some

of the techniques and failed a lot. I took some courses where I learned about color, layering and various other tips and tricks. This has helped me a lot in creating

flowing and visually pleasing work. I have attended a few markets in my area and have had great feedback and sales.

Fluid art has now become my obsession and passion. It takes me on a journey to a place where I can get lost in my thoughts and truly makes me happy. I am

looking forward to the next part of my journey, which is to share my art with you and hopefully take you to your happy place.
